A timeless traditional ikebana vase in Chōtarō-yaki, from Kagoshima, the historic Satsuma region of Japan.

This handcrafted flower vase has an organic shape with a wide neck and a rich surface in natural dark earth tones, created through the firing process. Its sober, minimal form gives the piece a calm, almost sculptural presence.

Beautiful as a minimalist interior object, but also perfect as an ikebana vase for a single branch, flower, or seasonal arrangement. The vase is signed on the underside and comes with its original wooden storage box and accompanying documentation about Chōtarō-yaki.
