Beautiful vintage Japanese tea cabinet, also known as Cha Tansu.

Dimensions: 90 cm high, 69.5 cm wide, 28 cm deep.

This Cha Tansu features two drawers, three storage compartments with sliding doors (one with glass), and two compartments with folding doors.

A unique piece for your interior, bringing an authentic Japanese atmosphere to your home, dating back to the 1930s.

The cabinet showcases impressive Japanese craftsmanship, with attention to detail in the wooden joints without the use of nails or screws, and a beautiful finish with finely grained veneer.

This cabinet shows signs of wear consistent with its age and is otherwise in good condition.

Cha Tansu, also known as Chabitsu or Chagama Tansu, is specially designed for storing and displaying tea-related items used in the Japanese tea ceremony. "Cha" refers to tea and "Tansu" means chest or storage.
