Gold-Tone Eagle Sculpture, Cast Metal, 1970s–1980s, Japan

An imposing eagle with a lively stance and a warm gold-tone finish.

Dimensions: height 40 cm, width 17 cm, depth 21 cm. Weight: approximately 8 kg.

The eagle grips a rocky base with its talons. Its powerful beak, slightly opened wings and carefully detailed feathers give the figure character from every angle. It is cast in metal and finished in gold colour. The open underside reveals the casting texture; no signature is visible.

Imported from Japan, this substantial piece brings a touch of character to a shabby chic or eclectic interior, whether placed on a mantelpiece or a low cabinet.

In very good vintage condition, with light wear to the finish consistent with age.
