Japanese Ikebana Wall Vase, “Nasu” – Metal, 1960s

Elegant metal wall vase shaped like an elongated natural pod with a dark, matte patina. Its organic lines and pointed tip evoke a Japanese eggplant (nasu) or pea pod, giving the piece a distinctly lifelike character.

Dimensions: height 24 cm, diameter 4 cm.

The opening is cut near the top. A decorative hanging ring on the back allows for easy wall mounting, and there is also an impressed maker’s mark on the reverse.

A subtle, sculptural object for a single branch, flower, or dried stem—an elegant accent in any refined interior.

In lovely vintage condition and complete with the original Japanese cardboard box.
