Set of Vintage Thonet Flex Chairs by Gerd Lange, West Germany, 1970s

This set of two original Thonet Flex chairs was designed by Gerd Lange and produced in West Germany. The design is unmistakably 1970s: a clean, graphic shell in black plastic paired with a warm beechwood base, giving the chairs a look that feels both modern and timeless.

Dimensions (per chair): height 79 cm, width 49 cm, depth 49 cm. Seat height approx. 46 cm.

The seat and back form one continuous, flowing shell that offers a comfortable sit. The base is made of wood with rounded legs and a sturdy, minimal connection, creating an overall impression that is light yet solid.
