Beautiful antique black lacquered wooden suitcase box from Japan, Meiji period.

An authentic piece that is very decorative. The case is finished with beautiful patinated metal hardware.

The inside is lined with paper and has an inner lid that was originally intended to hold obi.

Can serve perfectly as a reading case, cache jar, storage case,....

The travel case has signs of use due to its age, but is definitely still in good condition.

Its aged condition only adds to the beauty of this item.

Dimensions: 67 cm x 38.5 cm, height 35 cm.
