Antique Japanese small cabinet with three drawers from the Edo period.
Dimensions: height 26.5 cm, width 34 cm, depth 28 cm. In original, unrestored condition.
This unique document cabinet is secured with a small door behind which the three drawers are hidden. The wood has beautifully weathered over time, giving the piece a distinctive charm and an authentic appearance.
A metal handle is fitted at the top to allow for easy transport.
Although the key is no longer present, the cabinet can still be locked, though some force is required to close the door.
Beyond its decorative value, this piece is perfect for storing small office supplies, keys, jewelry, and more.
