Gorgeous wooden Japanese Kake-suzuri (懸硯) from the Meiji period.

Dimensions: height 52 cm, width 45 cm, depth 33 cm.

This decorative piece of furniture features seven drawers with beautiful metal handles.

At the bottom right, there is a small door hiding the two smallest drawers.

Originally serving as a storage unit for important documents, this tansu likely belonged to a merchant.

An authentic Japanese piece of furniture that will shine in any interior. Particularly suitable for displaying plants, ceramics, and small objects. The cabinet has aged beautifully, with natural signs of wear that add to its character.
