Beautiful Gunma vintage kokeshi crafted by Fujikawa Masae.

This wooden doll wears a colorful kimono adorned with exquisite hand-carved flower motifs.

Dimensions: height 20 cm, diameter 7 cm.

In excellent condition and comes with a label bearing the artist's signature. Fujikawa Masae was born in the Gunma Prefecture in 1942 and started making kokeshi dolls at the age of 17.

This artist has won numerous awards, including twice the prestigious Prime Minister Award.
