Decorative glazed earthenware plate, Agano ware, Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan.

Dimensions: height 6 cm, diameter 26 cm.

The plate features a deep green to bluish-green glaze with an irregular, speckled pattern.

This is a characteristic style of Agano-yaki, where natural ash and minerals are used in the glaze.
