A stylish Italian ceramic sculpture depicting a golden tapir on a brown base, inspired by the famous Tapiro d’Oro from the television programme Striscia la Notizia.

Dimensions: height 18 cm × width 23 cm × depth 15.5 cm.

Its flowing, simplified silhouette recalls the stylised animal sculptures of the 1930s, with an elegant Art Deco aesthetic. The warm golden finish and softly rounded contours give the piece a timeless character.

Both the tapir and its base are made of ceramic, featuring the original ‘Tapiro d’Oro’ inscription on the front. A curious and distinctive decorative object, ideal for display on a sideboard, bookshelf or desk.

Good vintage condition, with minor signs of wear consistent with age.
