Handmade Japanese wooden bucket with lid (Oke, Ohitsu).

Dimensions: height 25 cm, diameter 33 cm. In good condition.

Traditionally used for preparing and storing rice, sushi, water, or pickles.

The wooden construction is held together by red copper bands, providing both functionality and an authentic appearance.

A particularly decorative wabi-sabi piece that adds character to any interior, while still being practical today, for example in the kitchen to store onions, garlic, nuts, and more.
