The lid is centered with a gold family crest of oak leaves; inside is the gold character 柏 (kashiwa, “oak”), echoing the motif. The lacquer has a rich gloss and softly rounded corners that give the piece an elegant, timeless presence.

Very good condition with light, age-appropriate wear.
