Beautiful sosaku kokeshi created by artist Kazuo Takamizawa.

Dimensions: Height 24 cm, Diameter 7 cm.

This kokeshi features a beautifully stylized design.

She is dressed in a moss-green kimono adorned with intricate floral patterns, hand-carved with great care.

Craftsman | Woodworker: Takamizawa, Kazuo, born in 1927.

Takamizawa-san resides in Maebashi City, Gunma Prefecture, regarded as the center of craftsmanship for modern sosaku kokeshi dolls. He is a multiple award winner, including the prestigious Prime Minister's Award.
