Beautiful vintage pottery tea bowl, a Tenmoku-gata Chawan from Kyo ware (Kyo yaki).

Dimensions: height 7 cm, diameter 13 cm.

This chawan features a glossy Tenmoku glaze over a black base, giving it a lustrous appearance.

The rim of the bowl is finished with a copper edge, adding a touch of elegance.

Crafted by the renowned potter Teiichi Oketani (1935), this piece is signed on the bottom.

Kyo yaki is known as traditional pottery from Kyoto, admired for its refined beauty and craftsmanship.
