Product Details

Highly decorative Japanese wooden bowl finished with lacquerwork.

The bowl features a lavish floral design intricately carved into the wood.

The ornamentation is enhanced through the use of the urushi-suri technique (漆磨り).

This technique involves partially sanding the lacquer to achieve a lively effect.

The bowl bears the signature of the maker on the bottom.

Dimensions: height 4.5 cm, diameter 46 cm.

In beautiful condition, with signs of use on the black surface, which are not disruptive.
