Stylish Japanese two-piece storage cabinet

This type of cabinet was traditionally used to store clothing, such as kimonos and accessories.
The top section opens with two hinged doors (Kannon Biraki) and contains two large drawers.
The bottom section features two spacious drawers and two smaller ones. The two parts are connected with metal brackets on the sides.
This tansu boasts exceptionally well-crafted metal fittings on the front.

This Isho tansu has a beautiful patina and is in good condition, though it comes without a key.
