The lamps feature newly imported Awagami paper incorporating raw bamboo fibers.

Dating: Taishō [大正] (1912-1926).

Each lamp has a candle holder and a small drawer at the bottom for storing candles.

The front panel is extendable for easy access to the candles.

The portable Shoji lamps emit an extremely warm, subdued light, creating a calming effect.

The contours of the bamboo fibers come to life when the lamps are lit, turning this set into a unique work of art.
