Set of eight beautiful black lacquered wooden plates from the Meiji period (circa 1880).

Antique traditional Japanese lacquerware, extremely decorative.

Very nice as a stylish set for an original interior accent on the table, cabinet, etc.

The antique plates have some 'imperfections' due to their age, but these are not disturbing and make this set even more unique and beautiful. The plates have a natural, organic appearance and a pleasant texture.

Each plate is signed at the bottom.

Dimensions: diameter 14 cm, height 0.5 cm.
