Very decorative set of antique Japanese harvest baskets from the Meiji period.

Dimensions: height 26 cm, diameter 40 cm.

These baskets, made of bamboo and reinforced with washi paper, were used for harvesting rice, fruits, and herbs.

The washi paper prevents anything from falling through the basket.
