Set of Authentic Japanese Zabuton – Naturally Woven Straw, 1980s
A beautiful set of three authentic Japanese zabuton, traditional floor cushions commonly used in tatami rooms for meditation, tea ceremonies, or as comfortable seating at low tables.
Dimensions per cushion: 46 cm x 46 cm, approximately 2 cm thick.
These zabuton date from the 1970s and are made from naturally woven straw, presumably rice straw or a similar traditional fiber.
Two of the cushions feature a subtle geometric pattern that nicely contrasts with the warm, rustic texture of the straw.
The natural beige tone and the artisanal weaving give this set an authentic look that effortlessly complements both Japanese and bohemian interiors.
In perfect condition, with no visible signs of wear.
These zabuton combine functionality with aesthetics – ideal for a serene meditation corner, comfortable floor seating, or stylish, natural accents in any interior.
