Japanese kokeshi doll vintage creative by master Okamoto Usaburo (1917-2009).

Mr. Okamoto, the founder of Usaburo Kokeshi, was born in Shinto in 1917 and started making kokeshi in 1950. He invented new styles by introducing techniques using special machines and a manufacturing method using a wheel, paint with a brush and carving.
Winner of many awards, including the Minister of International Trade and Industry Award.
Dimensions: 9,84 inch, diameter 2,76 inch.
