A simple and characterful writing table from Japan, dating from around the 1930s. Crafted from solid wood with a warm, timeworn patina and a beautifully overhanging top supported by elegantly shaped legs.

Dimensions: height 32 cm, width 85 cm, depth 63 cm.

Equipped with two practical drawers featuring original brass handles and escutcheons (no key). The drawers slide smoothly and offer convenient storage for stationery, papers, or small accessories.

The surface shows authentic age-related wear — light scratches, marks, and a natural shrinkage line in the top — all stable and solid, ready for everyday use.
