Beautiful wooden Japanese chest of drawers (tansu) from the Meiji period.

Dimensions: height 64 cm, width 66.5 cm, depth 36 cm.

This decorative chest features three spacious drawers with metal handles and carrying brackets on the sides.

The bottom two drawers can be secured with the accompanying locking bar.

The black lacquer of the chest has developed a unique patina over the years, exuding a serene, traditional Japanese ambiance.
