Beautiful wooden Japanese cabinet (tansu) from the Meiji era.
This decorative piece of furniture features two storage compartments with sliding doors and has two drawers at the bottom finished with metal hardware.
Inside the tansu, Japanese calligraphy is visible, along with the signature of the cabinetmaker and a date: 1860.
The cabinet is in good condition and shows signs of aging.
We have thoroughly cleaned and treated the piece, ready for immediate use.
