Weathered Art Deco Mirror with Bevelled Glass, 1940s–1950s
Decorative old Art Deco mirror, dating from the 1940s–1950s.
Dimensions: height 58 cm, width 90 cm, depth 4 cm.
The mirror has an elegant horizontal shape with a scalloped upper edge and a partial wooden frame with a silver-coloured finish. The frame is decorated with geometric details, a crosshatch pattern and ornamental relief work, typical of mid-20th-century decorative design.
The bevelled mirror glass has a beautifully weathered surface, especially along the upper edge, where the old silvering has naturally aged. This gives the piece a great deal of charm, depth and authentic vintage character.
Beautiful above a sideboard, console, dressing table or low cabinet, but also striking as a decorative accent in a hallway, bedroom, shop interior or eclectic living space.
The mirror is in authentic vintage condition, with clear age-related wear to the glass and normal wear to the frame, consistent with age and material.
A characterful old mirror with strong decorative presence, elegant Art Deco lines and a beautifully aged patina.
