This exquisite flower basket was meticulously handwoven from bamboo. The two rings on either side serve not only as decorative elements but also allow the basket to be hung for a playful floral display.

The rich, deep lacquer finish in warm reddish-brown and black enhances the bamboo's natural beauty, giving the basket a timeless elegance. Its removable cylindrical bamboo water holder provides the perfect foundation for arranging flowers according to ikebana tradition.

The maker's signature (款記, kanki) is proudly displayed on the base.
