Small Wooden Tansu-Style Chest of Drawers, 1980s, Japan

A compact vintage chest with the distinctive look of a traditional Japanese tansu.

Dimensions: height 32 cm, width 36 cm, depth 20 cm.

The wooden cabinet has a wood-effect finish with a lively grain pattern. Dark metal handles and corner fittings add character to its eight drawers in three sizes.

On a desk or cabinet, it offers charming and practical storage for stationery, jewellery, craft supplies and other small items. The warm wood pattern also makes it a lovely accent in a contemporary interior.

In good vintage condition, with light signs of use as shown in the photographs.
