Vintage Japanese Sugi Drawer Cabinet with Floral Decor, 1980s

Refined small Japanese drawer cabinet from the 1980s, presumably made of sugi, or Japanese cedar. Dimensions: height 30 cm, width 22.5 cm, depth 16.5 cm.

The warm tone of the wood and the expressive grain give this piece an immediately rich and lively presence. A floral motif continues across the three drawer fronts, allowing the entire façade to read as one decorative composition. Dark metal corner fittings and handles create a strong graphic contrast and add to the cabinet’s well-finished, carefully considered character.
