Vintage Japanese Medicine Cabinet / Desk Organizer, 1960s

A characterful vintage Japanese medicine cabinet from the 1960s, originally used as a small home pharmacy for everyday medicines. The green crosses on the front and top, the metal handle and the original Japanese labels still clearly refer to its medical function.

Dimensions: height 16 cm, width 26 cm, depth 21 cm.

The cabinet has a simple wooden body with a warm natural grain and a pull-out inner drawer. Inside, the drawer is divided into practical compartments, ideal for storing small objects. The two round openings at the back give the piece an extra graphic detail.

Today, this is a beautiful compact storage object for stationery, keys, jewellery, small materials or desk accessories. It also works perfectly as a decorative object: sober, functional and with exactly the right Japanese vintage presence for a stylish contemporary interior.
