Decorative vintage Japanese bamboo basket, also known as a zaru, dating from the 1950s.

Dimensions: height 20 cm, diameter 64 cm.

The basket is handwoven in warm natural bamboo.

This type of basket was traditionally used for collecting, airing or drying natural materials such as herbs, leaves, tea or other harvest. With its beautiful round shape, warm colour and graphic woven structure, the basket has a strong decorative presence today.
