Rare industrial drawer cabinet from Japan, originally used in a Hitachi service workshop for household electrical appliances. The cabinet is made of red and cream-coloured metal and still bears the original Hitachi logo and the inscription 日立の家電品 (“Hitachi Household Appliances”) on the front.

Dimensions: height 75 cm, width 60 cm, depth 40 cm.
Weight: 38 kg.

The cabinet features 27 drawers and an additional compartment with a small door. The metal drawers retain their original labels, once used to identify parts and devices such as “カラーテレビ” (colour television) and “ラジオ” (radio) – a wonderful trace of its former use.

The piece has a rich patina with signs of wear and paint fading, giving it an authentic, timeworn industrial character.

Today, this cabinet is not only a collectible item but also perfectly functional in a workshop or art studio – ideal for storing brushes, hobby materials, paper, tools, or small supplies.

A unique piece of Japanese industrial history that adds charm and character to any interior.
