Authentic silk Hebo Obi from the 1960's-70's, Japan.

The length of this obi is approximately 430 cm and is 100% silk.

Originally this beautiful piece of textile is an obi (belt) for an informal kimono or hakama for men.

But this obi can also be used as an original accessory, for example as a scarf.

The indigo silk fabric is decorated with a beautiful plant motif using the shibori technique (Chuu Hitta Kanoko).

This Hebo Obi is in perfect condition, coming from a deadstock, with all tags as it used to be offered in stores.
