An elegant Japanese creative kokeshi from the 1970s, created by the renowned artist Miyashita Hajime.

The wooden figure features a slender, refined silhouette and a striking, deep-black hairstyle with a rounded topknot. The warm, natural wood tone of the face creates a beautiful contrast with the dark finish.

The deep-brown kimono is adorned with delicately carved floral motifs in soft shades of terracotta, orange and red, complemented by subtle yellow accents. The graceful lines of the kimono enhance the elegant design.

Unsigned, in lovely vintage condition with minor signs of age.
