Vintage Ikebana Stand / Sculptural Vase – 1970s
Sculptural ikebana stand from the 1970s, made from a paper–wood pulp blend with a lively, warm texture.
Dimensions: height 41 cm, Ø 13 cm
The tall, slender trumpet shape opens into a rounded mouth and features organic cutouts halfway down that create depth and allow light to pass through. A natural branch is integrated into the design, forming a plant-like structure together with the leaf-shaped elements around the opening – perfect for arranging branches or dried flowers in a playful, natural way.
The warm autumn hues of burgundy, rust, ochre, and moss green give this piece a soft, earthy presence. It stands beautifully on its own as an artistic object, yet also functions perfectly as a holder for dried flowers, grasses, or foliage.
The handcrafted finish and subtle imperfections lend it an authentic wabi-sabi charm. Due to the material, it is not suitable for water; use with dry arrangements or place a narrow inner vase if desired.
A unique and characterful object that blends Japanese ikebana elegance with an organic, sculptural form – a subtle statement piece for any interior.
