This Japanese cabinet with drawers is a unique piece from the Meiji period in Japan.

A store cabinet with a whopping 31 drawers, originating from a pharmacy.

The back, top, and sides of the cabinet are lined with multiple layers of old newspaper. On the back, clear advertising for eye drops is still visible.

Everything has been meticulously cleaned with respect for the history of the cabinet.

The drawers all have different compartments and each carries a beautiful patina.

The combination of black with deep reddish-brown creates a stunning color palette.

This authentic and distinctive piece is a true eye-catcher!

Dimensions: height 52 cm, width 60 cm, depth 18 cm.
