Beautiful antique black lacquered wooden suitcase box from Japan, Meiji period.

An authentic piece that is very decorative. The case is finished with beautiful patinated metal hardware.

Can serve perfectly as a reading case, cachepot,....

The travel case has a lot of signs of use due to its age and the lid is also missing.

That aged condition only makes this item more beautiful.

Dimensions: 67 cm x 38.5 cm, height 31 cm

The case was fixed with a semi-matte varnish.
