A beautiful Shinto temple bell (Suzu 鈴) originating from the Toshogu Shrine.

The bell is adorned with graceful leaf motifs and bears a stamp (東照宮) of the Shinto shrine.

An original decorative object that is rarely offered.

Dimensions: height 23 cm, diameter 20 cm, nearly 4 kilogram.

Toshogu is a famous Shinto shrine in Nikko, Japan. It is one of the most lavish and beautifully decorated shrines in Japan. Toshogu is especially known as the final resting place of Tokugawa Ieyasu, the founder of the Tokugawa shogunate, one of the most significant shogunates in Japanese history.
