Product Details

Beautiful Go board made of keyaki wood, complete with Goseki-ire (碁石入れ) for storing black and white stones.

Dimensions: Height: 17 cm, Width: 45.5 cm, Depth: 42 cm.

The storage containers, or Goseki-ire, with lids are made of plastic and hold 181 black stones and 180 white stones.

The Keyaki wood board dates back to the Shōwa period and has developed a lovely patina over time. The playing surface is in perfect condition.

The solid wooden block is elegantly finished with stylishly designed legs.

This set has high decorative value and can still be used for playing Go, offering the perfect opportunity to experience this Japanese tradition in an authentic way.

Keyaki is a rare and highly sought-after Japanese wood species, known for its beauty and scarcity, and is rarely exported.
