Product Details

Beautifully Keyaki wood Go game board, complete with 碁石入れ (Goseki-ire) for storing the white and black stones.

Dimensions: height 25.5 cm, width 44.5 cm, depth 40.5 cm.

The wooden boxes with lids contain 181 black stones and 180 white stones.

The Keyaki wood game board dates back to the 1920s-1930s and has a beautifully played and weathered appearance.

The solid wood block is finished with stylishly designed legs. Keyaki is a rare and highly popular wood species from Japan, hardly ever exported. This set holds high decorative value and can, of course, still be used for playing, providing the ideal opportunity to experience a Japanese tradition in an authentic manner.
