Wooden Japanese Toyama Pharmacy Box, 1940s-1950s.

Authentic Japanese wooden medicine box with a drawer. These types of boxes were once present in every Japanese household and were intended for storing the home pharmacy. On the front, a metal plate from the manufacturer in Toyama City is attached.

The top is painted with Japanese text related to medicines.

On the back of the drawer, an inventory of all the medicines stored in the cabinet is still visible. A unique and charming item, still perfectly suitable for storing small items: keys, writing utensils, sewing supplies, etc.
