Product Details

This set features three traditional gods from Japanese folk culture: Ebisu, Daikokuten, and Daruma. Each head is meticulously hand-carved from dark wood and paired with a natural wood form, preserving the organic texture and appearance of the material.

The three figures are freely placed on a matching wooden display with a raw bark edge. Dating from the mid-20th century, the piece is a fine example of Japanese folk art where spirituality and craftsmanship converge.

Dimensions (entire setup): Height 15 cm, width 19 cm, depth 13 cm.

Ebisu is recognizable by his broad smile and is known as the god of fishermen, commerce, and good fortune. Daikokuten, god of wealth and abundance, is often depicted with a cheerful expression and his characteristic hat. Lastly, Daruma, the founder of Zen Buddhism, is distinguished by his intense gaze and stern expression — a symbol of perseverance and inner strength.

A characterful and decorative piece of Japanese folk art, ideal for admirers of wabi-sabi, symbolism, and spiritually inspired objects with an authentic presence.
