Vintage Japanese Zabuton Floor Cushion with Graphic Pattern, 1960s

This vintage Japanese zabuton is a comfortable floor cushion for a tatami room, meditation corner, or use during a tea ceremony.

Dimensions: height 7 cm, width 62 cm, depth 58 cm. In good condition.

Today it also works beautifully as a calm interior accent: placed directly on the floor in a reading nook, arranged around a low table, or stacked with other cushions.

The cover is made from a sturdy textile with a subtle relief texture, featuring fine, flowing lines that are especially striking up close. The pattern feels clean and rhythmic: olive green and white, built from repeating leaf-like shapes with small diamond accents. The corners are finished with traditional cords, and the characteristic stitched seams along the edges give the cushion its classic, authentic look.
