A sculptural Italian Mama rocking armchair, designed by Denis Santachiara for Cerruti Baleri in 1995 and upholstered in a soft ecru-coloured fabric.

The armchair has a generous rounded silhouette with flowing armrests, a deep seat and a separate headrest. Its organic form gently surrounds the body and provides an exceptionally comfortable and relaxed seating position.

The curved underside allows the chair to rock gently back and forth. Its headrest can be adjusted in height and tilted both forwards and backwards, allowing the support to be adapted to personal preference.

The high-quality ecru fabric cover is removable. Its light neutral colour emphasises the sculptural form and allows the chair to complement minimalist, contemporary and eclectic interiors alike.

Created in 1995, the design combines comfort with a playful and almost futuristic visual language. The Mama therefore functions not only as a comfortable lounge chair, but also as a striking piece of Italian design.

In excellent vintage condition, close to new, with at most minimal signs of use.
