Decorative porcelain Makura pillow/neck rest adorned with Japanese landscapes and decorative patterns.

These types of 'pillows' were used during the hot summers in Japan to provide cooling.

The rectangular shape is slightly curved at the top to support the neck.

The sides feature decorative cutouts to prevent overheating.

A very unique and striking decorative item that is rarely encountered.

Dimensions: height 10 cm, width 23.5 cm, depth 11.5 cm. In perfect condition.
