Beautiful vintage kokeshi crafted by Kato Masami.

Dimensions: height 33 cm. Signed at the bottom.

The kokeshi features a very beautiful patina and is adorned with a colorful leaf motif.

Masami is the wife of Kato, Shinichi, who is a traditional artist from Narugo.

She was born in Narugo, Miyagi Prefecture, and has received many awards, including the Prime Minister's Award.
