Product Details

A charming set of two ceramic pig-shaped incense burners.

Dimensions: height 16 cm, width 14 cm, depth 14.5 cm
A kayaributa is a traditional Japanese incense burner shaped like a pig, originally used to repel mosquitoes with spiral incense.
These charming objects are made of ceramic and finished with a moss-green glaze. The hollow body ensures effective dispersion of the smoke.
In Japanese culture, the pig symbolizes good luck and protection. While kayaributa were once practical household items, they are now cherished as decorative and nostalgic pieces.
This set makes a beautiful interior accent and can still be used as an incense burner or even as mood lighting with a candle.
The kayaributa are in good, used condition.
They show no damage but have soot and burn marks on the inside, highlighting their authenticity and history.
