Product Details

Set of two handwoven Japanese bamboo baskets with a warm, naturally aged patina. Japan, Shōwa period.
Dimensions: both H 30 cm. Largest Ø 44 cm, smallest Ø 43 cm.

The rounded, gently bulbous shape and firmly woven upper rim give the baskets a highly decorative appearance. The fine weave and subtle variations in tone highlight the artisanal craftsmanship.

Beautiful as a Japanese interior accent, while also highly functional as an original storage solution for small household items.

Good vintage condition with normal signs of age that add to their character and patina.
