Set of 5 Vintage Japanese Zabuton Floor Cushions – 1970s

A beautiful set of five authentic Japanese zabuton, traditional floor cushions often used in tatami rooms for meditation, tea ceremonies, or as comfortable seating at low tables. These particular pieces date from the 1970s and are made from woven reed (igusa – a traditional Japanese grass also used in tatami matting).

The cushions have a firm, flat shape with a thickness of approximately 3 cm, providing pleasant seating support. Each cushion features a subtle green floral motif on a natural beige background, framed by a woven geometric border in reddish-brown. The combination of color and texture gives the set a refined yet rustic look.
