Beautiful Japanese wooden hibachi (火鉢) from the 1960s-70s.

Dimensions: height 31 cm, width 90 cm, depth 66 cm. Weight: 45 kg.

This antique brazier is crafted with respect for the natural form of the tree trunk, featuring beautifully grained wood that has aged impressively over time.

The hibachi includes a custom-made metal liner.

Its natural shapes and rich history make this a characterful piece that fits perfectly into any stylish interior.

It serves as a unique plant holder, bringing an authentic Japanese atmosphere into the home.

Traditionally, the hibachi was used in Japan as a heating device or fire pot for warming spaces and preparing food. The word "hibachi" comes from the Japanese "hi" (fire) and "bachi" (bowl), which literally refers to a bowl for fire.
